Correct. I worked at the Volvo dealer here during that time. Hated to see those things come in and have to work on them. And yes there were very weak!

The Delorean was cool. Stainless body. But a I believe was a opel engine. One left my neighbours garage not long ago to its new home.

The Bricklin was originally supposed to have an Opel engine but the prototype had a slant 6 or an Argentinean supplied Jeep Tornado engine.
Production models had the AMC 360-4 with Torque Flight or Borg-Warner T-10.
The last year of production used 351 Windsors with the FMX auto.
