Never had the flu in 67 years!!! Good friend ((my doctor) told me many years ago “Do not let them inject that poison in to you”

Never had a flu shot or the flu for that matter so I’m not taking a shot for this either, no vaccine has ever been 90% effective and I don’t believe this one is either, but that’s my opinion and I welcome yours

I always get a flu shot, I also go the shingles vaccine.
Im not sure about the COVID vaccine.

Did not know there was a shingles vaccine....in fact I did not know much about shingles at all until a friend got it in 2018...he was hospitalized and permanently lost the sight of his left eye as a result...nasty stuff.

Haven't had a flu shot since I went into the Army.
I did get a shingles vaccine.
I ain't taking any chances with this one. If doctors and epidemiologists are willing to take it, count me in.

The NBC news article is way overblown, sensationalism, doesn't sound severe at all to me.
If you've ever experienced anaphalactic shock, and I have, it's much worse than that description.

Every medicine has the potential for side effects especially in the amounts they are injecting right now... .There will always be a few that react to things...look at the label in paracetamol boxes ...scary! Like the two in the UK....quickly sorted.

I am still on the fence on this one. As I have stated in the past on this very subject, I have had the Flu shot every year and countless others throughout my Military career. I still get it annually for the Flu shot and even came down with Type A Influenza back in 2018. The Flu shot is just a routine trip annually for me so I keep getting it no matter what. At almost 72 years young, I am in a more priority grouping than say you young Pups. I am also breathing compromised from COPD and my hazardous smoke and fires from the damned Middle East BS conflicts. End my smoking for 44 years didn't help either. I have every intention in getting it because I feel an ounce of prevention is worth the pound of cue. I might have a reaction and I just might not. But the risk/reward factor to whether in doing so far out weighs not doing anything to get rid of this damned Chinese bug. We all know that it was a deliberate Biological attack perpetrated by the CCP and their evil ways of challenging the World. My opinion doesn't matter much but the World should unit and get back at the CCP for what they did. This Vaccine will undoubtedly help in stemming this to a very large degree but I do think that the "herd immunity" debate is really an ignorant debate point as it isn't proven to be a valid alternative...yet!!! Like anything, it is a personal choice and I whole heartedly support that claim. Albeit to some extent...cr8crshr/Bill :usflag:

Sweden now saying their "herd immunity" course of action was a terrible mistake.

3 times the rate of infection and death than their neighbors that practiced reduced interaction, masks and testing.

I have had covid, thank god a light case of it and able to recover at home.
My Dr ( thinks) 2 to 3 months of imuity once recovered based on info he has seen on numbers of re infection and anti bodies present in folks recovered.
After having it , once my turn comes up I will take the vaccine to protect myself and others around me.
It's a medical choice to each person to decide. I hope it stays that way
