It has several tabs bonded around the perimeter which have studs so it bolts to the hood... not bonded. For the price I found it to be pretty good quality.

Fit was good right out of the box but I spent an hour or so massaging the edges so it fit perfectly. It also has the correct curve for a '64-'65 hood. The underside was raw fiberglass, however I took a little time to smooth the area since I'm going to add a graphic to that section.

Here's a shot of the scoop after primer. Over all, for the price its a pretty good value.

I’m looking for a taller (3.5”) hemi scoop for my 64 Polara. Where can I see your sled city scoops? And how much do they run?On the taller scoops, you need a really good mounting system like I have on my Sled City Scoops. Little angle brackets are ok if you are keeping your car on the neighborhood streets, but if it is a performance car, check out my hemi scoops on ebay. I am oldwoody426 on ebay. I am the only one out there that has a warranty against cracking or blow offs.
$300 for the scoop and $50 for the ride. If you would like to know more, please pm me. I have plenty of pictures that I text all over the place.I’m looking for a taller (3.5”) hemi scoop for my 64 Polara. Where can I see your sled city scoops? And how much do they run?
