Anyone ever done this? What does it take on this end?
Thanks in advance!

Mostly curious about any shipping process or customs requirements. Any costs on my end that are waiting to drop on me if I do this. How do you even go about shippiongbthe car?

I have sold two to Germany and one to NZ. Buyers had a broker and handled everything on there end. There were no cost or shipping on me. Paid via bank wire and I was done. Transport showed a couple weeks later. One had me fedex the paperwork to the broker inLA the others went with the transporter. I would definitely make sure the buyer is handling everything on there end.

I set up a separate savings account to have the money wired to so the people on the other end wouldn’t have access to my checking account. Make sure they know it’s a savings. Not all banks wire to savings.

I was just going to call my bank about doing just that.

They can’t do anything with your account number. Every time you give out a check they have your full account number. How many have you written in your life.

once a wire transfer is made it cannot be reversed, it’s done.

Don’t do it ! Keep that beautiful car !

Things change as life goes on. I am absolutely sure I will want that car under my *** AFTER it is gone but for as much as I get to drive it and as much money as I have just sitting there, I can do things I will use MUCH more than the car that will not COST me as much as that car will if I keep it.

A "scammer" will wreck havoc on your account by simply giving him that number. Stealing it off of a check is something different. I will most likely open an account for this transaction and close it as soon as it is over and the $$$$ is in my hands!

Your banks in the USA must be very unsafe, if somebody transfer money to my bankaccount in Sweden that's my money and not the one who sent them? If it's not a legal mistake or if the bank do a mistake with another transfer that's not mine of course.

1. Are cars fetching THAT much more overseas than here really?
2. Does it bother anyone else when one of these precious critters leaves the country?

i sold a coronet R/T project to a guy in Austria......... I got paid, he made all the arrangements...... I hired a flatbed to take it to the port and it was done

Yes it bothers me but younger generations don’t seem to care about this hobby so I wouldn’t be surprised if they all eventually leave the us

yes, they do, if you want a muscle car in pristine condition here, you pay top dollar.
I sold mine for 90000euro 3 years ago, car got sold again last month for the same amount.
Even for a beat up 65 mustang coupe you pay more than 20000 euro's .

If no one here will buy it why not sell it to some one who is willing to pay for and recognize the value??? When one sells something it is all about "show me the money" ,not "where is the money coming from".

It isn't about the bank, it is ALL about the ******* thieves and scum bags that will use that number to steal your money. The bank does not know who is actually using it nor can they track it that way or it would not be the problem it is. You give them that number and the first thing they do is transfer all the money OUT of the account.

I have a savings I keep $10 in. That's for wire transfers. When I receive money it get immediately transferred to another savings account. If I send money its transferred to that account then wired.
