No. Too much money to fix it unless you want to do a Roadkill General Mayhem build. I often think if it was a good deal mathematically the owner would do it.

The choice is yours if you have the ability and funds to make it happen go for it... it’s rough but I’ve seen worse. If it’s something you’ve always dreamed of and can get your feet wet go for it but just be careful they are expensive and time consuming. A good hooker would be far cheaper but wouldn’t have the satisfaction like this! Lol

If it has good frame rails and floor, the rest is a lot of work and money, but doable. ruffcut

I know people will disagree but I think its over priced for what it is, that said you probably can't find one much cheaper but you might be able to find one that is a bit more complete

If you start pricing second generation Chargers in the current market, that car is a bargain,it would sell for double on E bay!

The owner is a Jedi at metal work and has another charger and enough on his plate.

Nothing that $50K (to $75k) plus won't get roadworthy :bananadance:
if you do 99% of the work yourself, more paying someone else

It is amazing what the gen 2 Chargers
even basket case base models sell for today

All them lil' parts will nickel & dime you to death
shipping costs will be 15% of the build cost or double that
if it's big panels or engine parts etc.

at least it has, "sort of has a grill"

I'd save more, look for & buy a more complete car
even for double the $$, you'll be ahead of the game
especially if that car was out in snow country on dirt/gravel
or especially on grass
Promotes "RUST"

but that's just my opinion

good luck

Its hard to find that stuff around my area
I would buy that tomorrow
I would take him 5k cash if he didn't want it walk away
But thats me

For the current market it is not a bad price. You will need to put rear frame rails and trunk floor in it.

The car this thread was posted about sold for asking price within 3 days of being listed. Not to the poster. Everyone is entitled to thier opinion.

Cannot answer that question as it is your decision and yours alone. If it were me??? I would look for the most complete vehicle you can afford and go from there. You most likely looking a 50-75K investment to bring it back. Needs and wants!!! cr8crshr/Bill:usflag::usflag::usflag:

Most people are priced out of the second generation Charger market. The only way for someone to get into it is to buy a total project car like this one. If you can do the work yourself and have the drive to see a project like this all the way through, than you could have a nice Charger that you know how it was built, every nut and bolt, verses some overpriced perfumed pig sold by one of those broker dealers. You have to be able to do most of the build yourself and you will become one with your AMD catalog! I am glad I bought most of mine years ago when they were still affordable! You don't get much second generation Charger for under 10 grand these days. This 69 wasn't a bad deal in today's market!
