Does anyone know where you can buy old style 16 inch windshield wiper refills, that would work for a 1969 Roadrunner? Thank you in advanced......

I got a TRICO set from Rock Auto for my 71 Bee. Look and work great.

Hey, how have you been? I finally got my Roadrunner up and running and some rust repairs finished. It's looking and running good again!

I had a hell of a time with my '71 Superbee. The wipers disappear under the sill of the front hood for the 'hidden wiper' look and the clearance is less than an inch. I must have purchased 6 different sets of blades, all stating they would work with my car, none of them did. I finally found a guy on Ebay that had an old original set of the wiper blade holders, the part that I could never find. I then had to remove the rubber wipers from a new 16" set I had laying around and carefully pinch them into place by hand.

So, moral of the story, if you have the hidden blades, I don't believe there is anything on the market that will fit on the original arms and fit under that sill. IF your's aren't hidden, probably lots of options.

If you are out there and know of a real source for the hidden blades, please speak up!
