I’m not much of a help, but I’ll bet somewhere between a lot and expensive. Maybe more

'66 casting date. A lot of the Hemi blocks were cast in 1966, but could have been assembled for later years. In this case; "C" = 1967. "H" = Hemi.

C generally means 67...price depends on condition which we don't know

Ever any major block damage?
heads cracked?
And cracks in the main webs ?
What carbs on it ?
Im assuming no exhaust manifolds ?

Very hard to say without know internal condition.

Ive seen several running engines recently in the low - mid 20s up to low 30s
Ive seen bare blocks needing crack repairs or had crack repairs in the $2500 - 3500 range , more if the dates are better As an example, an empty 70 -71 block can pull $5 to $10k to the right buyer

That said, As is ? Baseline ---- mid teens to as much as mid 20s to the right buyer. And they need a date correct shortblock

Judging by looks and unknown condition, 12-15K tops. With more information the price could go up substantially or go down the same.

My guess is pretty much what Jerry said for unknown condition. Hard to tell but it looks like it has air bypass carbs which could be originals - worth checking. Even cores are worth $1500 or more. If it were an up and running motor more like $25,000.

How does this sound? As it sits, $10,000-$12,000, Pull the plugs and the valve covers, squirt some lubricant in and it will roll over a couple of times $12,000-$15,000, Carbs, distributor, heads and manifold with correct casting and part numbers for an early production '67 Hemi, $15,000-$20,000?

What's missing, crank, rods, pistons and harmonic balancer? Carbs look hemi 66 4139s front 4140s rear or 67 rear 4343s.
$10k if missing the parts listed.

Those bad caps had a parting line from casting, never seen one.
That's what I've read, like to see a picture of one.

According to owner...is never been apart. All parts are there including exhaust manifolds and rotating assembly. He said it came out of a b-body car but wasnt sure what car. I am wanting to put into a 1966 Belvedere II convertible. I have the K member and everything else needed. Just wasn't sure of a fair price.

'66 street Hemis came in B bodies only. Charger, Coronet, Belvedere, Satellite.
Good advice stated above as for how to assess the value. Keep us informed of what you do.

If it has the exhaust manifolds and they are good shape

They alone will pull $4000 and up by themselves

I didn’t realize the exhaust manifolds had gotten that valuable. I guess I figured with repos made that kind of took the value down some.

Nothing hemi is cheap anymore
Doesnt seem all that long ago they were $2500 for a complete engine. Now all bets are off

Friend of mine just bought a date correct set for his car. Pd $4200 with shipping.
His old ones needed more work than he was willing to invest, and they choke tube has been brazed shut. He will sell them if anyone is interested. I think they can be bought for under $2500
Cheapest nice set Ive seen lately was $3500 and they sold quick.

Wow - then just carbs and manifolds alone are hitting the $5000-6000 range.
