But the boat isn’t providing lift like a wing. It does seem the pointy end forward might cut drag slightly. Maybe?
 
Just needs a big fairing. It's in the prop wash anyway so it probably wouldn't make much difference.
 
Nobody ever wonder why they built tear drop hydro planes and cars...

Flies basically the same speed boat on or boat off. Needs nothing but the balls to fly it... lol
