I posted that picture. I used all the original carpets as templates -- the new ACC carpet needed a lot of trimming / modifying to match the original.

The vinyl color of the ACC carpet was way off on mine too. I ended up buying vinyl material from Legendary -- the same vinyl they use to make the seat covers (Citron Gold). We removed the ACC vinyl and sewed in the Legendary vinyl. I got a little **** trying to keep it as original as possible. Sounds like you strived for that original look too. Thanks Agree.. a lot of trimming I ended up sewing the edges to match the original style the vinyl color was also off do re dyed that also .
Had similar issues with my 67. Gold upholstery and black carpet. Seems there was 3 different versions of gold for the interior: Seats, vinyl on the panels, and then the sail panels with the rest of the liner sections. The vinyl color of the ACC carpet was way off on mine too. Yes -- similar situation with the P4Y Citron Gold interior. Sail panels, door and side panels, kick panels, armrests, etc... all totally different or slightly different colors. I think there were six or seven different colors. I did find a vinyl paint company (SEM) here locally that could color match, mix and put the paint in spray cans. What a great help they were -- Tape Incorporated in Virginia Beach Va. He was surprised at the amount of metallic in the original paints. So much so he had to order a really fine metallic to finish the mix. Really like the work you did on your car.Had similar issues with my 67. Gold upholstery and black carpet. I took the original parts to the SEM paint mixer. We took areas that saw little or no sunlight and mixed the paint accordingly. It looks great.Thanks. I managed to locate the color chart for the interior colors to help with the creation of a paint that would work.
