My camper van does not have springs in the hoses. In fact I have never owned a vehicle with springs in the hoses.
Chrysler does run more pressure in the cooling system than others of that vintage.
We weigh 6800 pounds and climb hills with no cooling problems. Cheaper stainless steel will be magnetic. 316 is the standard for boats. Metal corrosion in boats by Nigel ? is a scary read. We use springs over fuel lines to prevent kinks in tight bends, on a motorcycle.

I'm sure you do have a very good understanding of ASTM standards. Good for you.
We're talkin about a f@cking lower radiator hose spring for Christ's sake. The point is that any form of spring will give support to a hose from collapsing regardless of what it's made of. Stainless, whatever grade, is better than one made from soft steel, brass, aluminum, cardboard, plastic........

Knowledge is NOT USELESS....unless you don't understand it and the only thing you can produce is a littany of words that typify your lack of understanding of the subject.......the fix......educate yourself rather than causing derrogrative statements....which does not denigrate my knowledge but just emphasizes your lack of understanding. Using obscene language to "emphasize" a position, does nothing but shows lack of vocabulary skills......relevancy??? But this is just my opinion.........your turn.......
