You probably guesed that I will also be rebuilding the front suspension also, hoping to get it done for Fall so I can drive it!
Look at all this carnage -
This is the drivers lower bushing, the passenger side was not nearly as bad.

My wagon will be looking like that soon. It will be interesting to see how much tatered stuff I find.

As you can see in the pictures the control arms, spindles & struts are all painted black. So somebody was in here previously. I'm pretty sure it was my dad, he was a penny pincher so he probably only replaced what was needed, usually the bushings and lower ball joints & maybe a couple tie rod ends. This time it wll get all new NORS USA made ball joints, pitman, idler, rod ends, upgraded (newer design) strut bushings and control arm bushings. New bump stops too cause they are trashed.

Brother Craig at mobileparts can hook you up on the items needed for the rebuild. I got quite a pile of goodies from him for my 67 wagon. Getting started on the majority of it tomorrow.
