It looks exactly like the 3 speed motor in my 68 Charger. If your switch has the 3 speed detents then the only thing I see different is your park place looks to be in a different spot than mine. Mine parks properly. Loosen the screws and rotate the center piece to the left so the three hash marks are between the 9:00 screw and the knob at 11:00. See it it parks properly then.

OK, loosened all screws couldn’t budge it so I took a screwdriver and started tapping one of the three bumps counterclockwise to get it close to the position that you have. See the picture below, that’s as far as I could get it to move. It would not go any further. Tighten the screws jumped inside the car turn the switch on All three speeds work but now does not park at all. The only thing it does is wherever I turn to switch off it stops right there. I will say I noticed when I turned it on the first time on low speed, It went supersonic fast until I touched the switch again and then the slow speed came back. This has done that
a couple of times.you can mark your wiper arm posts using a sharpy, and maybe you can then observe if the parking is working to your satisfaction before putting the arms back on.
Lol!!! That’s exactly what Ive been doing!!! It parks in same spot every time, with no arms on. Once wiper arms are installed…. Wipers drop to low onto cowl grill, and park 1/2 way up the glass….. and before im asked- yes… i installed arms in proper stopped position!
What i had apart, was the “cover”? Of what i thought was the park contacts? See picture, there were no gears in there, which is as strange to me since the inside had gear teeth around the entire perimeter?
3 speeds don’t have a ballast if we’re talking wiper motors only 2 speed motors
