Finally SST we've just made it within specs, .0045! Removed the bellhousing probably 50 times, mabye 20-25 hours. Of course every gain has its losses. Stripped the bellhousing threads on the starter side, so great now I have to fix that.

Front end temp installed/then removed for the rim measurements for Curtis speed. Put the old keystones on to have a picture to compare with the new ones. Rear end out and disassembled for cleaning and paint. Also have the pedals installed, will probably need to extend the brake rod to give it just a bit higher, right now its only 4" off the sheet metal. Seat will work well with the pedal once the brake pedal is adjusted.

Motor didnt make the stand today, might make it for primer tomorrow still need to give it a scuff up and degrease along with the bellhousing, so tbd. Rear end sanded, just needs a double check, a degrease inside/out, masked off and its ready to spray

Just need to put the clear on. Might not be the most popular choice but resto'd not numbers matching so need a little personality in it.

QA1 has been no help at all for a better spacer for the motor mounts, they just have a thick 5/8 washer. No machine shops near here except one that wanted min 1hr charge at 110$ so John at USCT was able to make a set of spacers to fit exact at a good price. 3 weeks run around with QA1,two days USCT spacers in hand.

45 min later.... that was a workout... on to rest

Didnt really pay attention to the gears being on driver side got the passenger all bolted in, took way longer than should and of course its the axle that goes on the drivers. Was thinking thie PS is the offset side so short axle that side, nope. Had to change both brakes off axles and go again. 30 min process, 2 hours total.. assembled, just need to mask off and paint the center chunk.

Trans is on, extremely tight on the fit had to take the bell back off and mount to trans to get the trans on the motor, had to finish torque the clutch/plate after due to the clutch alignment tool giving to much out of alignment.

Things went a bit sketchy getting the motor on the suspension, but it worked out. Headers are regular summit cheapo's since TTI is backed up 6 weeks. Will run these for the summer during break in and swap out to TTI's this winter.
