Huh - may have just learned something I never knew about 67s. Were ashtrays in the front arm rest one of those rarely seen options?

66-67 chargers had them in all armrests except drivers. And of course front and rear for 67.
No smoker gets left behind.

The pass front arm rest ash tray must have been an option in 67 but not 66 - I looked at a half dozen of the highest bid 66 Chargers on BaT and none had it. But I spot checked a couple 67 Chargers and they did. Didn’t see it on any 67 GTXs on BaT so it must have been fairly rare on them. Just never noticed it before.

Does it show on a build sheet or window sticker?

Is it listed in the options books?

Bought our 67 318 Charger in 1970. It had the passenger door armrest with ashtray. Still has it. Other 67’s have had it also.

Boy, that carpet is black-black. Maybe the white seats just accentuate it.

Had the valve covers off again - looks like i have a few lifters that don’t want to hold their pump.
So I guess a new set of lifters is on order.
We did set the carbs and idle and got the kick down set up

Baby steps …

It’s just a bit too noisy - and I had two 80 year old hemi veteran tuners over .
Motor runs great- just need some new lifters
