1967 Hemi GTX restoration

First time on the streets since 1979!

Some things to figure out- like the rear view mirror …..I guess I have the base for a convertible- so won’t fit my car.
I need a good rear view mirror base now

I am going to change out the lifters this month - if I can find some original Mopar ones

And a lot of little stuff I still need advise on

So the thread will have lots more to come !
 
I don’t think any car restoration project is ever 100% done but this one is certainly way up there percentage wise. :thumbsup:

This is what my May 1966 built at St Louis 1966 Satelite looks like

Is this the same day/nite mirror for 67 ?

Thanks. Lot of mandatory safety stuff in 66 and 67 that was first year

67:
-Dual master cylinder
-Dual jointed “safety action arm” interior mirror
-4-way flashers

66:
-Back up lights
-Dull non-reflective wiper arms

Wiper arms were 67.
- no pointy dash knobs
- safety turn signal arm
- collapsible column
- no spinners

That's interesting. 66 Chargers were polished. Maybe it was something they were phasing in for 67.
