1969 T7 Saddle Bronze Metallic Paint

Have you checked into the PPG Deltron series? It's quite expensive, but I have found that the the colors are more vibrant and a better match to OEM than other brands.

    Need Leaf Spring Advice

That is good to know. I've bought at least 10 sets of springs from ESPO over the years with no complaints. But if we can get the same product for less somewhere else, I am game.

1969 T7 Saddle Bronze Metallic Paint

@mopar4don is painting his Charger that color. I can't remember what brand of paint he is using, but what he sprayed so far looked nice. Maybe he wil chime in.

Or a set of 1.03" bars from PST. Best bang for the buck imo.

    Tire size on a 15x8

Do you already have the 15x8 rims? 7's seem to be more common with a 225/70 tire. That might help the fitment under the car as well?

My new stock stroke 400 build

Yes, easy peasy. There are a couple different varieties out there from the aftermarket, fine or course threads. I think I went with QA1. I put antiseize on the threads when installing them.

    Best of Show

Congratulations on some well deserved recognition. I got to check it out a couple years ago at Rock Falls. Very cool paint that brings back memories of some other vehicles I remember from the 70's.

My new stock stroke 400 build

I made that same mistake years ago as well. Figured turning the adjuster just 1/2 turn in didn't warrant getting the weight off the front end. I figured wrong, the threads on the oem adjuster block pulled. Big BOOM, and she came down, scaring the crap out of me. Luckily no damage to me or the...

    WTB Street dominator 400

The ebay one for 275? I don't think that is a terrible price if it is nice condition, plus he has it marked as "make an offer". I have bought a couple of those in the last few years, and they seem to be getting harder to find.

What's it Worth 69 Super Bee

Looks like he spent a bunch of time making what looks like some high quality fabrications to the car. Unfortunately, they are not everyone's cup of tea, and not easily reversible. Might take awhile to find the right buyer for that one. Maybe list it on Carsonline and Ebay to get more exposure?

    Fire ant killer that works!

The Ortho in the original post must be some nasty stuff. Was checking on where to buy it because we do have a few fire ant hills on the property. Amazon says they can't deliver to our address, same with Walmart. Our local stores don't stock it either.

leaf spring bushings anyone make rubber ones?

I tried the poly shackle bushings once. That lasted about 2 months before switching them out for rubber. The added noise when going over bumps was to much for me.

Battery at 15V...... Is My understanding of the VR correct?

You are lucky in that an adjustable regulator is available in that style. The new electronic replacement vr's for 69 and older cars all regulate at 15-15.3 volts in my experience, and are not available as adjustable.
