Absolutely Mike, If the engine is good and rebuilt as they say. I will definitely keep it. I've already been looking at factory '65 intakes...I actually found a '65 intake for a Dual quad !! that sounds like a can of worms but sure would look cool ..... Your engine looks great by the way !!!
I hear from Tom at Rocket Restos on youtube that a factory 6bbl 1970 Sport Fury GT he is fixing up is going to be in the barn finds section this year!! According to his channel it looks like its comin out great, I hope someone gets some pictures of it please.

i recall the car getting paint but like eldubb i do not remember if its single stage or base clear.
Ethire way I would try the buffing compound , say a 3000 grit to start.
Should clean right off.
