About 25 years ago I had a set of dynomax headers on a truck. Came jet hot coated inside and out. Worked well for heat control. Still looked good on top half. Bottom looked rough and rusty after a few winters.

The spring wire frame around the outside of it is rusted though in the bottom left corner. Also some of the springs that attach to it.

The line highlighted is the wire I "think" you're having issues with. The blue highlights are testing points starting at the relay and moving in.

If I understand you correctly... you have power going up to column to (presumably) to the ign switch. And it appears you're not getting power to the relay. And there's not a lot between the two. I was thinking test the wire from the ign switch heading out of the column for power when the ign is...

Not anything good said about car built in the last 10 years. All of thier major systems are just poorly made. Most times when you are going to buy a used car. The natual idea is to purchase something newer, better. But in this day and age , that is no longer true. IMO.
