    Question on lead additive

To all, I own a 1969 Charger RT with a 440 magnum engine. Should I be using a lead additive in my gas? If so, how often? Every tank? Which lead additive do you recommend. Finally, I know this isn't the right forum but I'm so excited, I just bought a 1969 Plymouth Satellite! At least it's...

    65 Satellite air conditioning

I converted my 1964 Polara to a modern Vintage Air system. I had put an original '64 A/C system in it, many years ago, but it never worked right. I have posted a bunch of pictures and stuff on Heating and A/C forum.

What's it Worth 68 Corvette seats

So the covers are not original after looking at a few examples at a show today but something that presents as decent start for someone looking for a factory base to recover with OE style covers.

    Loose horn ring on ‘65

No. The mount to the chrome ring is solid. There is good resistance when I turn the chrome ring to mount it to the base (whatever that piece is called). But after it’s mounted, it has some play in it. Not sure if that’s normal, but it has enough play to rattle when I ride over bumps in the road.

how critical is installed valve spring height?

Looking at the posted specs, the Hughes springs have a rate of 336lbs/in. If they’re 150lbs at 1.880, that would put them at 166lbs at 1.830. Imo, that’s asking for a problem.

Those aren’t correct. Firm feel had some manufactured back in the day and still had some in stock. After talking with them on the phone they hooked me up with urethane bushings and greasable pivot pins. I believe they are the only place you can still find them, for now.

Found a new project. Ram D250

Disassembly begins. Overhauling transmissions is probably my favorite part. This 518 is very similar to the 727, except for the electric servos and overdrive tail housing. Lots of clutch material to be seen. The VB is going to get disassembled and cleaned, then I'm going to pull apart the main...
