I have a 69 rr. The temp and hurl gauges don't work. I've tested both with hot wire thru the reducer and when I ground the other post they both go up. Problem is in the car, when put juice to either of the gauge posts, it's a dead short. What's the problem? Both posts should not be gounded...

Just finished up my 69 RR with 440. I may have made a mistake I used purple cam/solids Alluminum heads set the lifters at 24/32 warm. But geez, sounds like a damm combine with all the lifter noise. I'm not used to that. I hate it. Nice can and decent idle but the noise is terrible. I know...

I put a set of allum heads on my 426 wedge. For some reason, ive got 3-4 valves that wont close all the way. They seem to be hanging up. Ive run it for anout 10 minuites at 2000 rpm but they dont seem to be getting any better. Any ideas out there of advice? If i take a pry bar, i can get them...

Just got my 413 with allum heads. Something funny here. When i bring up a valve to set the one next to it, the one thats up slowley hoes down. Same with all the rest. The lifters will not stay full, theygp dow like there leaking naturally i cant set one cause the pushrod just keeps going down...
