Stock crate motor with the marine manifold
It seems someone has put the release lever on the wrong side of the drivers seat when they refurbished them. I've removed the circlip but it doesn't want to come off the shaft. It makes me think the end of the shaft has been mushroomed.
Has anyone else come across this?

I've got a RR with a 440 stroker that was purchased from a deceased estate without paperwork for the engine build. I've had a few 440s and this is definitely stroked.
Is there a way to determine the displacement with the engine in the car through the spark plug.
A friend sent me a pic of the cracked trim in his 68 RR. The other pillars trim is also cracked in the same place. Is this common and what would be the best process to fix it?
My heat riser is leaking from the pin that holds the flapper. If i remove the whole heat riser assembly and plug the holes for the pin and keep the heat tubes attached, would this be ok?
Were the reservoirs for 66 one year only and is what they call yellow correct for 66? Mine on my Sat has disintergrated and appears yellowish. It's a survivor hemi 4sp so would like to keep it that way so would prefer a nice used one
