They are just spacers. Wouldn't worry me a bit.
But I did make aluminum spacers to use with my crane gold, in place of the springs. Better to properly locate the rocker, and reduce side load.
I didn't read the Wikipedia article, scanned it but they buried the pertinent info & I'm not sure I trust a source that anyone can edit by clicking on the link..
Mc Master Carr shows it at 275F Sure, higher would be better but if your rockers are at 275 your engine is gonna have bigger problems than melted rocker arm spacers....
