Hi guys,
I wanted to see if there was feedback on this restomod build shown on BAT. We are looking for a restomod... as well as an original numbers car to add to the garage here.

Hi folks
I am looking to add a Charger to our garage.
-#1 condition
-Rotisserie restored
-68-70
-4spd
-numbers matching
-#1 condition
-fully documented restoration
If you have something that meets the description above, please hit me up.
We are thinking about selling our 69 roadrunner convertible. I feel confident in saying that this is likely the nicest 69 roadrunner convertible on the planet. Just finished a 3 year restoration at a Mopar only shop last year and has about 50 miles on it after the restoration. No expense was...
Random question....
How low should the top assembly go when I am lowering it? The frame is still visible and is higher the the top of the quarter panels.
Is there a best practice in lowering a top on a 69 roadrunner?
I decided to add some pics of my roadrunner resto on the forum. I bought the car and it was a nice #2 driver car. I guess I am picky with my cars as I always seem to want #1 show cars.
Here is what it looked like when we started...
Lots of original parts in great shape on this including...
Of the external trim pieces on a 69 roadrunner can anyone clarify which parts are stainless steel, pot metal and chrome?
I am trying to plan my bright work restoration and may end up sending all the stainless to one shop and the chrome and pot metal to another.
I have a 69 convertible RR?
I am curious on the pricing you guys have paid for chrome work, stainless polishing and pot metal refinishing.
Anyone care to share the work you had done, by who and the pricing? Trying to confirm my budget for this.
I would opt for show quality work vs driver quality work but any feedback is...
restoring all the brightwork on my 69 RR.
For the bumpers I am thinking Advanced Plating or Paul's Chrome. (both about $900 / bumper)
I am not sure who to use for stainless.
Building a show car not a driver.
Any suggestions?
Yep... still removing my brightwork to send to Advanced Plating.... Any idea how to remove the trim pieces from the quarter window assembly? At 1st look it seems they are riveted in.... Trying to break it down to send just the stainless section to the polisher and not the entire piece... thoughts?
I am planning to send some parts to the plater to get redone. Any thoughts on how to break down the driver side mirror? I dont believe I can send it with the mirror still in the housing.
thanks
Hi guys,
My 69 RR came with front and rear bumpers guards on the bumpers when I purchased the car from the original owner. However they are not listed on the fender tag. Is it possible that they are still original and were installed in the factory?
I am not certain as I thought all options...
Guys,
I have a 69 RR with a matching 383. What is the best option to keep a complete stock look to the engine bay? I hear folks recommend the Pertronix Ignitor product. Does the coil look stock? Trying to build a show car but need the electronic ignition since we drive the car.
Anyone here had their tail light bezels refinished? Mine have some pits and I would like to restore them to like new vs buying reproductions. Anyone have any experience? There is a painted surface on the inner portion of the bezels as well.
Hi guys,
I am planning to have my bumpers done on my 69 RR. I am looking at Tri City Plating or Paul's Chrome. Tri City is about 50% the cost of Paul's. Paul charges $800-$900/ bumper assuming you send him a servicable core.
This car I am building will be primarily a show car- all numbers...
