I've been having a lot of problems with plug fouling lately and after a lot of trial and error trying to adjust timing and idle mixer, I decided to pull the carbs to inspect them. I pulled the center carb and you can see in the pictures all the carbon in the intake manifold. Also the lower...
Anybody have experience with pulling the heads with the engine still in the car. Any challenges or problems to be aware of. I suspect I might have some worn valve guides
and am considering pulling the heads to get some work done, but don't really want to pull the engine out of the car.
I was going to work on installing new valve stem seals on my 440 this weekend. Engine is in the car. When I compress the valve spring, the damn keepers are stuck and won't release. Any recommendations on how to free them up without damaging the valve?
I was inspecting my ignition system today and it looks like I could probably use a new rotor and cap. Where do you guys go for a good quality distributor cap and rotor?
What Make or Model car would you never own? For me, there are several:
1. Subaru - hate the name, too much of an environmental lefty image for me.
2. Kia - are you kidding me, there is no damn way I'm owning something called a Kia.
3. Hyundai - nope, no way I'm going Korean. Besides, pisses...
Hey, just wondering if you guys have any feedback, good or bad on Promax?
Was thinking about sending my carbs to them. I've talked to them on the phone a couple of times to ask about their services and my initial impression was they don't offer up much in the way of information (just seemed...
My winter project this year will be rebuilding the 6 pack carbs. I've been running this set up for about 10 years now and the guy who owned the car before me had been running it for many years prior to that. So my guess is these carbs haven't been touched for 20-30 years. Its done okay for me...
I have a set of 4 Rallye wheels for sale. I think they are 7" width and have a 4 1/4" back space. Fair condition with some blemishes and dings on the trim ring. The tires are 20 years old and would not advise using them. Asking $220 for the set, pick up only.
Looking for some advice here. I had my torsion bars out to do some front suspension work (new bushings, ball joints, tie rods, etc.). Ride height was good before I took them out.
Now I re-installed everything and dropped the front end back down and its bottomed out. I've tried cranking in...
Hey guys, need some help. Which way does this seal go? Does the long rubber lip go in towards the bearing or out towards the spindle?
This is the seal for my inner bearing on my front disc brake hub.
Looking for a set of Pin Style brake caliper Mounting Brackets for the larger diameter 11.75 inch rotors. Please let me know if you have a set you are willing to sell. Thanks!
Below is a picture of the LCA Bumper Spacer on my 1970 Charger. I only have one and need one more. If someone has one to sell, please let me know.
Thanks!

Working on rebuilding the front suspension on my 70 Charger with some components from PST. I noticed their LCA Bumpers are not the same as my originals. The PST bumpers are taller, narrower and not symmetrical. Since they are not symmetrical, I'm not sure if I should put the taller end more...

What started out as a brake caliper replacement has now turned into a full fledged front suspension rebuild...….you know how it goes, one problem leads to the next. Well, I pulled off my LCA and it appears that someone in the car's past history beat the hell out of the LCA shaft either to get...
