I just took a look on Amazon.ca and there are a number of PC925s, differentiated through their suffixes.
You being a battery guru, do you have any idea what the various differences are??
No kidding! I've been remiss in my duties as a faithful B Body owner. I shall endeavour to improve....
Thanks for the quick feedback, tis appreciated.
One difference from my situation to yours though, it appears you started with a lead acid reproduction, whereas my reproduction has an AGM in...
Has anyone had occasion to disassemble one of these batteries?
If so, does the top or bottom of the enclosure come off?
Also, is it glued or snapped together?
My 16 year old battery has finally given up the ghost, and to buy one of these landed in Canada in Canadian funds will be close to...
I've done some digging this morning and the chap in Edmonton is now out of the business completely, and the gentleman in Cranbrook isn't taking on anything until this fall.
So I've found lots of great posts about various people in the US doing the AM/FM conversions, but are there any Canadian Forum members who have had it done in Canada, and would also recommend who did it.
I realize that I can send my radio across the border, but I'd just like to try to stay away...
I'm wanting to do a check here for anyone who has a '67 R/T w/automatic console, and the console is still as it came from the factory.
One quick question: are the grooves left in their natural chrome, or are they filled with black paint?
The car I have now has had the console lid restored, but...
So, I've been reading as many posts, at least the most current ones that I could find, about Group 27 batteries.
I'm looking for a reproduction Group 27(red cap) battery for my '67 R/T J-Code car.
Which one have Forum members had the best success with? I need one that has some longevity, I...
The Rat Roaster was originally designed for large displacement, high RPM Elephant motors, at the onset of the Pro Stock wars, and there they worked very well.
Unfortunately, many tried to make them work on the street, and there they weren't successful, same for some of the lower class...
I'm starting this new thread as there weren't any current ones relevant to what I'm looking for. At least that I could find after a couple of hours of searching on and off over the last couple of visits.
Has anyone found a product/service that they have used, or have some indepth knowledge...
So, I thought that I would restart this ad, but given the state of the Canadian vs US dollar exchange rate these days, it will be at a far lower price. The new price if $550.00 USD, plus the actual shipping costs.
As noted originally, I am open to a reasonable offer.
An RV cam is a great way to go on the low comp motors. You'll see considerable gains in the bottom end through mid-range, so driveability is vastly improved.
Check with your local MOPAR Performance dealer to see if they still have a current part number for one.
I used them quite a bit many...
My apologies right up front if this has been addressed previously, but if it has, I can't seem to find it!
I have a '67 R/T J-code car that has the stick carbs on it and the usual non-functioning choke on the rear carb. The simple reason for this is because the car has a full TTI exhaust...
I have a completely unmolested Edelbrock Rat Roaster that needs a new home.
It only needs a media blasting(glass, ground shells) and it will look like brand new. The interior has not been modified in any way, shape, or form, and all threads are clean and crisp-none stripped, none wounded...
