Hi All,
I'm wondering if anyone knows where to get some good quality gaskets for the key locks on the exterior for the doors and trunk? The ones I have from YearOne or Classic Industries (?) are slightly too big and don't fit well at all. The driver's door one actually fell out. The color of...
Thanks, I did get it using the methods above. The other item I learned in watching several GraveYard cars YouTube's related to this, was to get a "fresh cut" decal from Phoenix Graphix. This seems to help as well. The original one I tried seemed more rigid and less supple.
Thanks for the info here. I'm going to dig into this a little more, but its looking like all the Superbirds' master cylinders were black from what I'm seeing and hearing here.
Thanks for the info, however that's not what it says in the David Wise reference book I've been following for my restoration. Do you have some more additional info? If so, I'd be willing to change it. Its been a little whole but if I remember they came with 2-3 different types.
One final question for anyone that have some answers here. The attached heat shield is for the drivers side and wanting to make sure it's a natural finish as shown or is it painted with some heat resistant paint?
Any help here would be great.
Thanks,
Wayne
Another question I'm having trouble finding info on?
The attached picture is for a 1970 Superbird and I'm trying to figure out what fills this opening? I'm thinking it's one of the rubberized flaps used inside the fender wells with
the stainless steel spring clips but would like to be sure...
Hi Everyone,
This is for a 1970 Superbird so needs the extra nipple for the vacuum headlights.
I'm hoping you'll be able to help me here once again. I'm looking in the David Wise restoration book and not finding complete info on the vacuum connector for the brake booster. I'm just doing...
OK, thank you, this is very helpful, especially with the video.
One final question, it looks like you removed the top protective paper on the outward facing side of the decal before laying it down? Just curious not on the instructions I have. But may be helpful for laying it into the...
Hi All,
Needing some specific help on applying the large two piece nose decal on the nose. I've been able to put on the "Plymouth" on the Qtr. Panel & Round Decal on the wing as well as the headlight door successfully. However, because of the size of it and the multiple angles of the nose...
