wondering if I should pull one of the other oe piston/rod assemblies to weigh it and match the new one for balance!

I have a 440 blocked that's filled and clearanced for a stroker build if anyone needs it! I won't be using it! I bought it for the internals to use on the street!
just got the new 440 stroker,alum head engine running and noticing it's getting very warm! the car was fitted with a new aluminium rad when it had the 318 with mechanical fan! it's now running an electric fan!
pretty sure all the air is purged out, any tips for sorting this out?

anyone tried this combo on 66-67 for fit with the hood? motor is assembled just looking for heads up on hood clearance and how much scoop height is needed if necessary?
I have a 440 block thats filled, clearanced for stroker crank if your inclined,has aluminum caps! bought it thinking I could remove filling and use on the street,was wrong. put internals in another block! ont/ can. $500 $300 without caps
