    68 Coronet Longroof

Ah, my spare tire well is rusted out too. Looks like it was fixed with a fiberglass repair many years ago, well before this current age of repro panels. Did you make a new well or get a patch for it? I'll be brand new to welding when I start on mine, and I was thinking the same thing, that the...

    68 Coronet Longroof

Wow, this is very impressive! I'm glad my 68 longroof has a good body. I need to address the drivers frame rail and get it on the lift to see what the rest of my condition is, just got to move a few other cars around first. Did you know how to do this when you started in on the repairs?

    Are wagon doors different?

Oh I have intention of changing it (besides I don't have the skill even if I wanted). I'm just trying to kick my habit of immediately ordering parts that are wrong before doing my research.

    Are wagon doors different?

Thanks! I do not have one yet. This is perfect.

    Are wagon doors different?

Ah interesting to see the comparison. So it's looking like it's close. I wonder how much of the 4 door whiskers can just be used on the wagon for the rear doors. Seems like it should be quite a bit. Luckily my door skins are good so that's not a concern!

    Are wagon doors different?

So, I have my 68 coronet wagon now, finally getting a chance to dig into it, and I'm thinking of things like what to do about the cat whiskers for the doors, I have one door with a bad window regulator, etc. I thought I read somewhere that the doors on the 68 wagon were not the same as the doors...

Picked up a 1968 Coronet Wagon

Pretty close to what I'm thinking. Probably go with a decently built 383 or 440 depending on budget, but I think it needs A/C for sure.

Places to get frame rails replaced in northeast Pennsylvania?

Hey everyone, I just picked up a 68 coronet wagon and did a roadtrip with it. However, before I do any other stuff with it, I need to address some serious rust in the front driver side frame rail. It's not through the whole rail thankfully but it is pretty seriously gone where it is rotted. From...

Picked up a 1968 Coronet Wagon

Yesterday I just wrapped up a 10 day roadtrip that started in Nashville and ended in the Poconos back at my home base. The vehicle of choice, my new (to me) 1968 Coronet wagon. Managed to combine 3 desires on this one. A) do the bourbon trail and bring a bunch home B) buy a new car C) have a...

Engine Harness routing 71 RoadRunner valve covers

Yeah, I got it with. a 440 in it, but it came with the original 383 as well. If I were to do a true restoration, I'd need to throw that 383 back in and get a bench seat, but for now I just want to drive!

Engine Harness routing 71 RoadRunner valve covers

So run them like factory means just lay it down the engine between the intake and valve cover? :D

Engine Harness routing 71 RoadRunner valve covers

So I have a slightly rusty, slightly beat 1971 roadrunner with a 440 in it. It's not the original 440, possibly a few years older, but what the hell, I figure I'd dress it up a little throw some good parts on it, replace wiring harnesses, etc. I notice right now the original 440 valve covers...

    Carlisle 2022 Tent Poll

Looking forward to stopping by the tent at some point. Looks like a good setup. Will there be some sort of donation jar (tip jar, whatever) to thank the organizers for their efforts? This will be my first time at this event, so I'm looking forward to the overload of too much awesome stuff!

WTB 71 Roadrunner rear deck filler corner

Passenger side is what I need, I should have mentioned, if you have that, thats awesome! Thanks!

WTB 71 Roadrunner rear deck filler corner

Does anyone have a parts car they can steal the deck filler corner off, or a deck filler they didn't use all the way? I just need the corner from the rear deck filler panel where it meets the gutter. It's rusted out, of course, on mine. Trying to see if I can get what I need without needing to...

Going to try and make it, never been. Still trying to decide if I make it a long day and check things out or go for hotel/camping.
