    1967 radio antennae removal

I want to install a car cover on my 1967 GTX without putting a hole init. I know the nut at the base of the radio antennae unscrews, but how do I remove the mast without it falling inside the fender? Thanks

    ‘67 Hemi GTX value

Same build date as mine. I believe the new model year started Aug. 1st

    ‘67 Hemi GTX value

I believe I am correct. The 720 number is just the 1967 GTX with a street Hemi. I am not including Dodges or race Hemi's in any car. 1967 was the first year for the GTX.

    ‘67 Hemi GTX value

skyman51 here. Unfortunately 67 Hemi GTX are down in value. Only 720 were made but for what ever reason prices have nose dived. My car is a trailer queen, with docs and almost all; original parts including the drive train I have owned it twice, this time for eight years. From what I have seen it...

    Out for an AWESOME ride

No worries, it is a HEMI! The one thing that is not absolutely correct on mine is the 4 blade fixed fan has been replaced with a 1968 Mopar 7 blade clutch fan. runs cool as a cucumber. It was 80 degrees when we took it out last week.

    Out for an AWESOME ride

As many of you know I don't drive any more because of the loss of eyesight. Last week my friend came over and we took out my concourse 1967 Hemi GTX. We stopped at a shop where everyone is a MOPAR freak. They went nuts over the car, taking pictures of everything and then sitting behind the wheel...

Hemi assembly date and installation date

You are correct, no Hemi blocks were cast in 1967. I am curious about assembly of engine and installation. Could several months go by?

Hemi assembly date and installation date

In a 66 or 67 Hemi car what would be the time between engine assembly date on pad and the build date of the car. What is acceptable? I know Mopar did some crazy stuff.

    Really?

Of course you are entitled to your opinion, but I think not. My car is a two time first place winner at a Concourse de Elegance. I know what I have and if the car you list was truly better,115K is a very fair price. A wealthy collector friend of mine sold a 1971 Hemi cuda, 4 spd two months ago...

    Really?

I will keep the car. I sold it five years ago for 120K, I bought it back three years ago for 125K. I know what an awesome car it is and that is why I bought it back. Since I can't drive anymore I think about this fantastic car sitting in the garage. Whether I sell it or not will not be the...

    Really?

Unfortunately the auctions are not right for most of us anymore. They are all greedy pigs now. Mecum wants $1000 just to register the car, 10% of the sale price, and the cost to transport it there. Not in my budget! Hemmings is expenwsive and only gives you one month exposure. Also not my...

    Really?

Again, thank you all. This gem will stay in the garage. I guess it will be my wife or daughter who will sell it. This is the second time I have owned this car. I had sellers remorse as soon as I sold it the first time, all because of the money. I bought it back a couple years later and I paid...

    Really?

I am not a mega rich guy but I gave up a lot to buy this particular car five years ago!

    Really?

Thank you! I totally agree with all your points. I would not even consider selling it for 80+K
