    Looking for a good.....in working order (no leaks)...Federal power steering pump for my 1968 Plymouth Road Runner. Has to have 3/8" outlet with the mounting hole on the back at the 1 o'clock position...not the 3 o'clock position. I think '67 and '68 were the only years for the Federal pump...

    Thanks guys. Just wondering if a weak fuel pump might also be a problem when it gets hot? Maybe the diagphram is affected by the heat??

    I do have a wood spacer under the carb. I think you are right about the boiling but why is it doing it now and what's the fix?

    I have developed a problem with my 68 Road Runner. It seems that when I drive it, and this has started in the past year, and it gets good and warmed up and when it sits and idles for awhile it will die and I won't be able to start it until it cools down. This is a 383 car with manual...

    Thanks for the compliments guys. Wish it did have a Hemi. The Hemi would have cost me about 1/4 of what the whole car cost when I ordered in back in '68. It does have the original 383 with a four speed.

    Didn't say I didn't like it or that I wouldn't drive it. Just saying that it was the wrong hood for such a great restoration. Same with the grill. Just sayin!
