    Questions on Rallye dash wiring

I'm working on the parts to convert the standard dash in my 72 SSP cloned into a RR. I have a 74 dash assembly with 120 speedo and oem tach. I have a 72 charger wiring harness for a rallye dash with the oem clock. and my 72 car. Questions in no particular order: 1. is the black with tracer wire...

I've been looking at photos of late B, F, J body stuff and nothing has this short assembly. It's very similar to the 66-70 b setup

Need some help with ID'ing console conversion parts

I bought all this stuff in 2020 in a couple different lots and got overlapping parts in order to get 1 full set of all brackets, shifter, and linkage to convert my 72 RR clone to console shift. I had never noticed the 2 different down tube positions, one right by the shifter 1 way up front. Is...

Opinions wanted of the ballpark value on this 73 B5 in/out A57 400 #'s car

Yes I meant even a "pretty good car" can need $10k in stuff pretty quick these days

Opinions wanted of the ballpark value on this 73 B5 in/out A57 400 #'s car

The price of everything is stupid anymore, you can be into something $10k for very minor changes and corrections. If the car is truly ready to roll the way you want it, where else will you get to that point for $22-25k?

    Thinking of buying a roadrunner

You have to ship it internationally in 2 months? For you to drive? That's going to be an aggressive timeline to have it running and trust worthy. You won't be able to get parts

    Gear Vendors OD

Where in MN are you? Tranztech in Dubuque Iowa does OD conversions. To me, if you want od you really need more tq either with stronger engine or more rear gear. 318 with 2.50 gear probably has poor vacuum readings lugging along as someone else mentioned. 80's 318s did it but with 302 casting...

I have now found a harness from a 72, seems to line up mostly, but was a clock not a tach. Snagged the wiper switch that was posted here as well. I'll pm you in case your harness is a perfect match

    I think I found a little gem

It's for a 74, and I need the switches and wiring harness (or make my own), but will greatly improve what you see when sitting in the car (has the standard sweep dash) My 72 is a clone, but has the RR grill. I have a 72 440 for it, and the stuff to convert to buckets and console shift.

72 Charger Rallye, leave as is or update

I'm with the guys who say it's probably worth more than you're giving credit if in great shape. I'd vote love it as built or sell it to someone who does and go buy a SB project to restomod.
