Truthfully I have painted several cars colors that I didn't care for because they were # matching and that was the right color for the car. But when it is not a #'s car I paint what I like.
We tend to forget that we who are of that generation like them the way they were. Where as the newer generation likes the restro type cars with modern bling lol.
I just call it totally cool! That is one thing about ma-mopar. She was never afraid to step out of the box. I am glad that being over seas owned they have kept that concept going even farther yet!
Yeah I have to return my 2 front fenders because the holes for the marker lights are not centered on the body line like they should be. There off set so the marker sits lop sided. A pain to have to return to large items like that. Passengers side quarter was very close. Drivers side well there...
A lot of folks think AMD are best. I sure wouldn't want to hang a bad one then. I just installed 2 AMD quarters on a 68 charger. Let me tell you they fit like crap! There wavy where there stamped and even after there fit to the car they require a lot of body work. If your a body man at all you...
And once again you are right! I was comparing to my 68 (I've never looked at a 70) And they bolt to the front of the K member. Mine has the holes right where you marked them. I never thought the sway bar went back that far. My K member has the tunnel just like that one where it goes through...
Thanks everyone for the input. Great site great people. I have Mustangs ,a Chevelle a gto several chargers and a Plymouth. Sometimes I get crossed up because I work on and gather parts on different cars even at the same time. But I can always count on you guys to help out.
Thanks
Perfect Moes thank you very much. I was trying to as six pack said thinking it went like my 68 did. This makes perfect sense. I seem to have the bad habit of buying things on a whim then finding there not what I need lol. So then they go into the stash lol.
Thanks again
I am pretty sure it is original to the car. Shouldn't the frame be drilled for the mounts that attach to the frame? I don't see hole one on mine. But it didn't come with a sway bar from factory.
I believe so. And really not as bad as they look. A little blasting and they will look good again. There for a driver car so will blast and paint and rebuild the LCA's and install if possible.
Hey guys I need a little help. I bought a set of lower control arms and a sway bar that is from a 70 charger. I figured B body is B body but after looking them over I am not sure there what I need for my 70 Plymouth RR. It is of course my fault if they don't and I am fine with it. But anyway...
I wouldn't think it an issue to post a vin number. If you have a clear title what is the difference. After all the vin on a car is out in the open for any one to see out on the street. They can look right there on the front corner of the dash on most cars.
Is that pump noisy? I installed on in the Chevelle and it was very loud inside the car as well as outside. Even with magna flow mufflers you could hear it while running down the road.
At least that makes me feel better about my 7200.00 68 Charger that had a running 440 in it. It just needed a front floor pan. A trunk pan ,left rear frame rail , both rear quarters and both front fenders. It was a steal .
Yes as stated the six pack is very cool. I was running one on my bird. I ordered a new electronic dist. and had to pull my six pack off for fitment reasons. I installed an offenhouser 360 with a 750 carter competition series carb. The stock HP 440 runs better with more power and fuel mileage...
