Hear you on the price of gen3 motors. When this Durango came in we looked for a used engine, for just a little more money we put in a reman. Up here used motors are $1800-$2000 with 130,000 miles.

We have an '05 Durango in our shop that I think dropped a valve seat. We are replacing the motor with a reman. The core charge on the old motor is $500. What ya all think about keeping the core motor if it did drop a seat?

Now I understand. Thought they were selling tanks already modified for their pump. I've looked at that pump too, much cheaper than the stealth.
I followed along with your build but I dont remember if you welded in a well for the pump so it was below the top off the tank?
