I have a 67 Charger 383 which was originally a 2bbl. I had the surging issue that drove me crazy. I am not saying this is your solution but simply telling you what I did to eventually solve it and with this information if it gets you to look in a place where you haven't looked previously, great...
If it is OK with racedodge, I would like to put together a PDF so I can keep this info handy.
Anyone like one, I'll put it on my site for download ... again with permission.
Great info!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've seen them on EBay as well. Jegs will have them too if you know the size, shouldn't be a problem.
If you have a place locally that sells hydraulic equipment, they would most likely have the fitting as well.
Yep, 74-74 B Body takes a special oil pan as everyone has stated. It has to do with the so-called upgraded suspension and steering on the 73s.

Some useful stuff, mostly first gen. All of which I have identified except as pictured.
I know very little about standard transmissions but I think they are trans...
This is the one I got. I don't need anything exact, I just want to know if it's overheating. The sender/sensor looks by eye to be the same size as OEM...
6pak. I do know in previous years (like my 67 for example) they are the same. And let me say I have never compared them side by side, myself. However saying that I have had many people tell me 73-4 B body are different.
And something must be since there are 3 part numbers listed. 6, sb, bb...
Don't think so. I just sold a 74 RR horn and it was faded naturally, but it seemed semi gloss as well. Keep in mind these years (horns) were part plastic, not metal like in previous years.
See the auction link...
