Yes, K frames are different small block to big block. Transmission may be as well. For example a 400 or 440 will burn up a 904 fairly quickly.

Don't think so. I just sold a 74 RR horn and it was faded naturally, but it seemed semi gloss as well. Keep in mind these years (horns) were part plastic, not metal like in previous years. See the auction link...
