Hi guys just finished up dropping in my running gear and notice how close the power steering box is to the inner fender is this normal i'm talking you would be lucky to fit a bank note between it seems very close and i don't know if it's meant to be this way as i never pulled the car apart
I wouldn't bend anything on a front end mother mopar had it right the first time. maybe try another type of idler arm something that steps down further maybe a later model it's a bit hit and miss once you start changing after market steering boxes or could be the other end maybe the pit-man arm...
The Disc's are on with new bearings,bearing seals, backing plate seals, disc pads , grease caps,wheel studs & wheel nuts amazing how many parts go on these cars it's like the never ending story

Hello guys just finished up with my upper & lower control arms as in re bushing them & wondering what is needed while assembling them as far as greasing or lubing them up.Do the lower shafts need grease or lube and same with the camber bolts do they also need greasing and on what sections...
Thanks dadsbee you are correct to the part number at the rear, but i think it does matter front or rear because the torsion bar has been stressed in one direction for 50 years if you spin it around would it not now be stressed in the opposite direction ?
Hi all just cleaned up my torsion bars which came in a box like the rest of the car (basket case) and just wondering which end goes to the front and which goes to the rear the bars are marked L/H & R/H but not front and rear as i believe if you switch them around they will be clocking the wrong...
I know this has been asked 1000 times but the color of the lower control arm is a dip coating but i don't want to dip it but imitate the dipping i was thinking mix a brown/gold color into a clear coat and spray it on maybe tackle it that way.has anyone else have a better idea/way ?
all my master ,wheel,slave cylinders all done in stainless steel you do it once and once only cost more but all worth it in the end .2 reasons i have all the original components re sleeved so keeps it genuine looking and 2 they will never fail again as long as you keep the oil clean they can...
