    Let’s see those winter builds

My 63 is coming along but it isn’t going to be done for the start of the season.

What’s your favorite wheel on a drag car?

Goo Gone took the letters off awfully easy and is citrus oil based

What’s your favorite wheel on a drag car?

They are 17x33x15. Little wider than I wanted but I couldn’t pass them up and have plenty of room. Had 16” wide on it before.

What’s your favorite wheel on a drag car?

So I had this set of Weld drag lites powder coated in Pitch black metallic. They are pretty wild out in the sun but look pretty killer. No the tires don’t match. I got an awesome deal on the rears and couldn’t force myself to pay $100 a piece more for Goodyear front runners over Mickeys. The 63...

    Let’s see those winter builds

Here is mine. I bought this car a year ago. Been buying parts ever since. It was built several years ago but never finished. I have pretty much everything to put it together so it’s time to get the thing ready to build. Previous owner passed away before he could finish the car. I hate to do it...

What’s your favorite wheel on a drag car?

I loved the Mickey Thompson ET Drag wheels and would buy a full set of those if I could find them the right size and offset. I wish I would have bought a set back when they were making them but oh well

What’s your favorite wheel on a drag car?

So I have a new set of red shell plugs to go in my draglites. I can’t decide if I want them in them or not though. I like the vintage look of them but I also like how they look without them. What do y’all think? I put one in this front wheel trying to figure out what I want

What’s your favorite wheel on a drag car?

I have to give my vote to the Weld drag lite. It has a timeless look that is at home on any car and from what I can tell it seems to be making a resurgence amongst the youngsters too. I am having a set of bead locks put on these this winter. A close second would be the Monocoque wheels. Similar...

Some call it overkill, I call it….well….overkill

I don’t think this is the same car. This is a new build that was started by someone that passed away a few years ago. The fenders and doors are off the car you are referring to though. It’s still racing in NSS. The chassis was built for this one and that’s about as far as it got before he...

Some call it overkill, I call it….well….overkill

Don’t know why I said a partial fill. Brain fart on my part I guess. It will be filled fully as the engine will be running on alcohol. I edited the post.

This is the 63 Plymouth it’s going in. Not a recent pic but it’s the only one I have on my phone.

Some call it overkill, I call it….well….overkill

So I am building a 500” bracket engine using a stock 440 block. Just picked up everything from the machine shop today. Added billet caps and machined it for cross bolts to make it a four bolt main like a Hemi. I then added a girdle to the bottom end and plan on filling the block to boot...

Mopar Stage VI max wedge head progress and HP expectations

P4532758 is the part number. It is the right one to run on an RB block with these heads without the spacers

Mopar Stage VI max wedge head progress and HP expectations

M1 Stage VI dominator flange. It’s the intake made for these heads. It is new never bolted on. The heads were new also before all the work was done.

Mopar Stage VI max wedge head progress and HP expectations

These are the Mopar version that KG went fully through for me. I have the correct 4500 flange Maxie intake for them.

Mopar Stage VI max wedge head progress and HP expectations

So I got these heads in a swap and decided to go all out on them. I sent them to KG Engines to have him use his CNC program on them. They turned out beautiful. Chambers ended up being 80CC after he reworked them. They will be smaller than that when finished as the heads will be milled some. They...

Hard to believe the price difference

Guess I should be glad I bought them when I did. They are not $541.99 any longer but that’s what I got mine for so it’s all good. I’m glad they honored their advertised price and they were shipped quick. That’s the sort of thing that will make me buy more from Mancini going forward.

Hard to believe the price difference

New pistons came today. I ordered them late Friday so the order wouldn’t have been placed until Monday. So basically it took a week to get them but I got them for over $300 less than Summit or Jegs. I will take that trade off any time. Nice looking bullets
