Southwest rubber might have the ribbon and napa has the primer.

The prime makes for a good glue to hold ribbon in place. Just make sure that if you buy in bulk that you don't cut it to short after installation. You will have a gap if you do I always do the install then let it set for a few hrs then cut to fit.

Tape around the whole then trum tape after installation. If removing hold clip solid and back the bolt out by hand tools not impacts. Just a thought

If I use a black base under the gg1 paint that would make the gg1 darker correct. Or does it even matter for a base coat.

Okay got fenders ,hood and trunk lid done and 2k on them. I see some areas that some skim coating needs done. What's the best skim coat to use over 2k primer. Or the all the same just different name.

Nope we go till it hits 110 then we hide under a rock. Best time of the for me is 5.00 until 12.00 right now. But as summer comes the earlier I get started.

Got it so far wax paper is helping as to not letting dried out.

I'm going to try that with the az sun it likes to dry out fast. Thanks for the heads up. Now to get the wax paper out from under the wife's nose.

Maybe this is getting done already but anyways. How many of you ruff up the old paint with sandpaper before putting a stripping component on it. Seems to make the process faster
