A buddy of mine gave me a set of j.e b1 440 pistons. He sold all his drag racing stuff but had these left over. And owed me some money... Will and indy head work with these pistons?.. he said the valve relief was different but he wasnt sure by how much.. or can they be fly cut?
That's not too bad. Nothing a die grinder won't take care of. How do you like the 499? You wouldn't happen to have a pic of after you notched it with the die grinder would you?
Anyone have any experience with the 499 rotating assembley from eagle for the b blocks. I have read that the crank doesn't clear the block so the crank has to have the counter weights turned turned down anyways...
I just picked up a set of 915 heads off a buddy for a good deal. They have less than 2000 miles on them. Bronze guides. Srp stainless valves. .550 springs. I paid $500 for the set. He was selli g off all his mopar stuff plus he owed me some money lol
Now I am gonna do some port work. What's...
That was gonna be my next question. Is there a width difference from the BBM to the BBC. or am I better to go with a 440 rod? Then what piston do I go with? Man so many combo's now a days
I am really looking hard at the Indy ez heads, Theres a guy with a set locally that might be coming up for sale I have heard both good and bad things about the eddy heads
Ok I have some questions on the 470 stroker build...Me being new to Mopars I just would like to get some sound advice before pulling the trigger on anything...
