Yes there are seals and they attach with those same push clips as the front access holes on the inner fenders where the brake lines come in that stuff is on a roll and you cut to fit there are kits available as well

I installed roll pins seem ok

one fell apart when I pulled on it was rotted the other I got out and lost it but I am probably going to use a roll pin have them at work

I assume you can use a roll pin but it was actually solid

If you are going through that much trouble you have already removed the paint just do it right and weld it no more damage if you can not weld let a body shop weld it in and you finish no big deal you will feel much happier
