    Project Pittsbird Almost Done

Bravo!!! This is a great thread!!! A nice driving Mopar can be built on a budget. I really didn't keep up with a budget on my 69 Charger, but I can guarantee, there is a lot less in it the what most would think. I am working on a 68 Charger now and I am on a stricter budget. I'll admit it won't...

    68 charger

Great work cdr! I just stumbled across this tread and read it all (haven't been on this site in a while). I love threads like this when someone tackles all the work themselves, it's motivation for others and a great learning tool to. I think its a good idea to cut the jambs in like you did...

    1970 Satellite 4-door

I like it.... there was a 69 Satellite 4 door, I wanted really bad one time. It was a 318, 3 column shifted 3 speed. Green outside with green (near mint) interior, and had torque thrust wheels, wish I would have bought it. Good luck and have fun! Jason

    Looking for thoughts

Personally, I am a fan of color-matched wheels with dog dishes, so I vote to paint the wheels red! I also like the idea of a white roof, I think that would look great! BTW, very nice car! Jason

    My Charger project

Best advise I can give about body work is when it comes to the sanding process is..... be PATIENT! Block sanding sucks, plain and simple, just don't rush it...it will pay off in the long run. Sometimes I would just block one panel and call it a day, come in the next evening block another one...

    Clear coat over panther pink!

Looks great! I went through the same process as you, I painted my car in a homemade booth in my shop last October. I had about the same issues as you....I could have used more lighting, had a little trash in my paint...a couple of runs but it all buffed out good. I had two box fans blowing into...

1969 Roadrunner Project Car...need opinions fast

Yeah 1800 for a solid roller is pretty legit, but you gotta consider you budget, too. Me I look for the most for the money. If your dead set on a Roadrunner, thats a good price for a Real Roadrunner eventhough its missing alot....I would definately try to find a complete satellite/belvedere for...

    71 charger resto

cool car, I had a 72 a while back ago, regular charger with a 318-2bbl, automatic, but it had some cool options, hide-a-way headlights, rallye gauges, chrome rallye mirrors, disc brakes. I sold it on eBay a few months ago, I would have like to have kept it, but If I want to get the 69 done, I...
