So i have had pulsating vibration in my charger for a while, went in under the car and of course the slip yoke is a bit loose also the joint but people here in Sweden told me tha the shaft is to short, c/c 1309mm = 51.5354331" ish
So what is the correct length driveshaft for my 70 Charger...
So what brand of oil do you use in you engines? I use the Joe Gibbs DRIVEN HR-2 High Zinc 10W-30 and it seems to be good. What do y'all think? Just some pics of my love to enjoy while we discuss this =P
So i have a question about the gaskets for the intake on my 383, so i have seen some use only the valleypan and some RTV and some use some kind of "paper" gasket with the valleypan.
What is the way to go with a original intake?
So i installed the 650 Holley Sniper last summer but havent the kickdown to work, do you guys that have a Sniper on your bigblock any solution for me so i can fix it?
Okej, so i have adjusted the kickdown rod after i changed to sniper, the rod down behind the engine is adjusted to max and and it okey, but the rod that connects to the "carburetor" / EFI dosent reach the correct adjustment for the kickdown to work. How does you setup look like with your EFI?
So im about to install my EFI and need to install a water temp sensor and i already have one for my Dakota Digital, so i need to know what size/thread the "plug" in the green cirkle so i can use that hole. The sensor for the EFI is and 3/8 NPT
Hi guys!
So im planning ahead for the coming season and i have an issue with the car, so when the engine is all warmed up and i put it in to gear i have to get it some gas right away or it will stall, like when im going to park it in the garage i have to have my foot in the brake at the same...
So i have been driving a few miles now and have noticed some thing about the car,
i took away the choke on my holley 770 cause of the engien failure early this summer, now it drives good BUT when it gets hot i wants to get upp to a 1000rpm, and when you put in gear
especially revers it wants...
Okey, new question!
What type of pistons should i use for my -68 383 with 906 heads, XE268H compcam, will the
Speed-Pro Forged Pistons L-2315NF 30 work? Or the KB Pistons?
This should not be a crazy HP motor, just enough to work good.
So i found i guy tha got a crank from a 383 he's says that he dont remember if it's from a -65 or a -71. Are they different from a crank in a -68 like mine? Do they have numbers on them to use as a guide?
So as some of you may know i'm going to rebuild my 383 after the bearing disaster. So i'm watching a youtube rebuilding an 383. And he's using a sealant but what kind is it? What is the best type of sealant between surface and gasket?
And one thing more, the rear crankseal whats the best way...
What would you say is a good Holley Carb for a -68 383. Ive got a 770 Holley now but somethings not quit right. I have tried to adjust it but still get to much fuel.
