Water temperature gauge spikes to impossible high #s then goes quickly to 180°

I installed a Wraptor serpentine belt and accessories system in my 440 6bbl 70 Roadrunner last year. Dakota Digital gauge system. I had to install and remove my Cold Case radiator about 6 times because of a defective electric fan motor, and to fit the largest flex fan I could, as well as...

Kudos to SPAL Italian electric fans, Durale flex fan, and Cold Case aluminum radiators

I'll be as concise as possible. 1965 421cu.in. Tripower GTO and 1970 Roadrunner 440 6bbl I have finally had success, so far, with the Roadrunner! I bought the right electronic parts, 2x 70 amp relays, 2x 30 amp circuit breakers, heavy gauge wiring, 140 amp alternator. The vendor my wife and...

Vintage Air uses UC Arm access panel hole to route hoses. I'm looking for alternatives and opinions

I'm certain that I have used that same hole to put tools and my hand or arm through to do "common" work on my 440, and I think I've used it to get to a bellhousing to block bolt or nut too. So I'd rather not run the hoses through there and lose access. I'm using aftermarket UC arms with multiple...

Installing a Cold Case radiator in Roadrunner and GTO. Need advice on flushing out old coolant.

My first thought is to remove the thermostat so I can run 100% water through the entire engine water passages to completely remove and flush the old mixture out. New radiators seems like a good time to replace the thermostats anyway, while "I'm at it". Thermostat removal required to allow the...
