Can these pinholes and small holes be repaired in the floorboard or would it be better to repair them or go with more costly upfront of removing the floorboard and replacing them?
If repairs, what?
JB Weld?
Something else?
Thanks!
Rebuilding my restored column, and during the takedown I was taking pictures. Well, lesson learned…. I didn’t take enough!
1) Is the order in the diagram correct?
The top pieces go after the gear sprocket?
2) Does the turn lever get attached with the long screw?
3) Where does the rubber...
Is there anything I can use to repair the inner sleeve lining? I see they have the whole thing at classic, but if I need to buy another who has them? Thanks!
I’ve cleaned up any rust and grease, and can I now spray them all black, or will there be any consequences? Not the rubber or plastic, just the metal with Rustoleum Gloss Black.
Stupid me, I restored my dash and put it safely in the garage, I thought! Something rested against it, and put a good indent in the dash pad. Two places. Any ideas how to fix?
I’m going to see if the heat here in California, minus the smoke helped bring the dents out.
thanks!
Original instrument panel, although it’s been painted, and original dash frame, although it’s been powder coated. Is this steering column gap between the frame and the plastic instrument panel right?
I see no way to move the plastic to align with it better. The steering column channel...
The screw/shaft that holds the spring and pedal to the assembly. It has an Allen wrench end on it. Does it screw out with an Allen wrench or do you hammer it out?
Mine is rusty. I soaked it a night with kroil and didn’t budge. Now soaking the whole thing in rust remover.
Thanks always!
let’s play what is this part called, and can I buy new ones somewhere?
From my ‘71 Charger. Bracket that holds the steering assembly in place. Are these plastic pieces sold somewhere and what are they called?
Thanks!!!!
Anyone used the bucket seat foams from MrMoparts? Anyone know where they are getting them?
I have used both companies (Legendary and MrMoparts), and Legendary has treated me very well! MrMoparts has been good too, just not as relaxed and friendly. With the discount (not taking into account...
Hello,
I'm rebuilding my '71 Charger bucket seats, and YearOne has these. Granted my car is missing parts, some are broken and so on, but would I use these for my bucket seats, or are they for bench seats?????
Thanks!!!!
When I took apart my seats, there were unmatchable screws (whatever would fit).
What size screw and head attaches the seatback to the seat.
Here’s a picture of what I’m talking about.
Thanks
In the process of removing all the hog rings, fabric, and muslin from my seats.
After I get the frames/springs sand blasted, should I paint them with a rattle-can or powder coat them?
Black will be the color.
Taking into account costs and durability.
Thanks!!!
I'm getting ready to put stereo speakers in either the door panels or the kick panels of my '71 Charger. Anyone have experience on which location worked best, tips and pictures you can share for locations and ideas?
Thanks
Time to put the dash back together! It's going to take a few days! I hope I remember where everything goes, so I'll likely be back here for tips and experience!
Thinking of getting the metal powder coated. Can I slice the rubber/leather cover off, and then glue it back on? I'm going to wrap it in leather when done.
Thanks!!
Getting ready to paint the metal dash chassis on my '71 Charger. The original doesn't look quite flat, but who knows what has happened over the years! Non numbers matching car with lots of changes (no wood grains, carbon fiber pieces, etc...).
