1964 Dodge 426

Hate to say it...but the stamp on the flat suface is NOT what Chrysler stamped on the 426 blocks.

Also WASN'T ALL the 426 crank bearings cross-bolted as well??? This one isn't!!!!

Hi Mike, I don't recall if my stage III block was cross-bolted, but my Hemi block was.
The casting number (2658836) identifies the block as a 426 Commercial motor, which was a high nickel block. The stamp on the front (426 v42) identifies the block as a 426 manifactures in 1964.
