That is one of the nicest 64s ive ever seen! Hope your havin a ball in it... I know my eyes arent that good but those rims sure look like the old chrome reverse we used to call them.. Love the looks regardless.
Damont;unfortunately,I sold the beloved Softail two years ago. Back and hip issues kept me from being able to hold it up. I won't do a trike;it's two wheels or nada. Thanks for all the compliments, folks. She looks better in the pics than up close;I'd love to wet-sand the entire body and clean up the finish. I'd really prefer to take it off the road, strip it down and repaint it in its original color-code MM silver metallic. Down the road...
Sweet ride brother. I love the look of the reverse chromes. I'm currently building a 64 Belvedere that needs this look. Would you mind sharing the make/size of the wheels and the tire sizes?
OK;the wheels: From Rally America(TOP NOTCH folks) in 15X5" up front and 15X8 out back. However...their standard 15X8 has a 4-1/4" offset, and it had my 255/70-15 tires rubbing on the inside of the wheelhouse. I called them, ordered another set with a 5" offset and it was perfect. The old wheels found a home on a local street rod.
