About this Mopar:
I purchased this mostly (except transmission) number matching original triple black 1968 Hemi Charger R/T from a gentleman in Burkburnett, Texas (near Wichita Falls if that helps) for the grand sum of $740 in running condition, although it was starting to spin a rod bearing insert. From about 1980 through the mid 1990s it was running and driving with a 1970 year model Hemi engine in place of the numbers matching engine, after which it was stored until work started on its restoration in 2013... its off to a slow start, gathering the final needed parts and funding. Waiting on the completion of my 1969 Charger 500 restoration to start the major effort, but the 1970 Hemi has already been removed... Updates when they are available... Broadcast Sheet, Fender Tag, and ownership history back to 1971 are among the documentation of this favorite Mopar of mine.
