Nice car! I too have a '73 Charger but mine is an SE car not a Ralley. It also is a factory 400 mated to a 4 speed. Too bad the motor and trans were missing when I got it. I will be going to put it back the way it was.
I really love my Charger. It is the same color as my first car, which was a 74 Charger with a 318, and the Aztec interior. I mounted an old style Pioneer Supertuner w/ the big illuminated dial on the trans tunnel, looked like it belonged there.....It was also a faithful freind in that it was a 200k car, w/ an engine rebuild at around 100k. NEVER had a problem, NEVER left me stranded. Believe it or not, I paid $500 for it in 1979.
This Charger is a little more fun to drive with the larger engine and 4spd setup. It also does well at the local car shows
nice car! i own a 74 s.e. with a 318 auto. with 59,000 miles on the odo.! it's a survivor. all orig. all there. same color. white interior with the bumpstick console. we love going to the local A&W , and Friday Nights at Skippy's speed shop here in n.e. ohio. it's all about fun and family! and alot of bench racing! my ride still needs some T.L.C. but i drives fine, stops on a dime, and so far is the only one of it's kind in the area, i like being the only one they is around!!! it aint a killer street sweeper but it sure is a blast from the past. My first Charger was a 66' 383/727 from california. i wound up swapping the 383 for a 72' 440 now that was a go machine! but i got married / baby / job! life in general forced the sale of it. so now i'm older and wiser. hopefully it'll be diffrent this time round. enjoy your ride. have fun. and be kind to all. im outta here!!! b. medina
