I bought this from a guy who said it was his Dad's project. (I don't know, because he said all the parts were init, and they were not!)
It has a brand new "Blueprint Engines" 408 Stroker, a 4 speed. and tubular A frame Rack and Pinion front suspension. There was a hole cut on the tunnel for the Pistol-grip four speed,,,but, alas...in the wrong spot. It also had a broken Ring Gear. So we, (And "We" meaning my mechanic, Dan Isom did it --I'm a driver, not a mechanic. Right now, I'm the PRODUCER of this show...) pulled the trans out to get to the ring gear, found out it has a "Mcleod" clutch...always nice! We had to buy the "Z bar", a new ring gear, Gauges and tach. It still needs Calipers for the front disk brakes, brake lines, New Gas Tank, probably, sending unit, gas lines. And the Whole 8 1/4" rear end needs to be switched out. I'm still looking for brackets and pulleys too. (Non AC car). When we put the trans back in, we found out the the drive shaft that was in the trunk FIT! Since we're still looking for pulleys and etc, we started it up with just gas in the double pumper Carb that was supplied by Blueprint Engines. Dan had to move the distributer around some and move the wires too, I think...but it fired up. Snarly, nasty sounding. Choppy. I don't think "Valve-float" is going to be any problem here. Nope.
I can't get the video of the Engine running that I would put here. Darn.
I'll load up some pictures of the day I bought it:

Oops! Got two in of that first photo! Sorry...crap I still use a "Flip" phone out in the truck, --land line at home..!
I'll try to get more pictures transfered from Dan, he's taking a lot.
But from these you can sort of see what we're doing here.

UPDATE: Well..we're about 7 Months into this,(Dan is working on this when he's not at work), We had to move the gear shift back...the tubular front end set up probably moved things back... The seats didn't latch, so we put in some seats from a Neon...reclining seats! New, three point seat belts. I didn't totally need to replace the gas tank, but I did anyways..New HD leaf springs and shocks. Had a drive axle built...I'm still looking for a sure-grip. So hard to find parts...I've been stuck on this computer looking for and buying parts online a LOT! New brake system One BIG problem with the tubular "A" frame/rack and pinion front end...The power steering hoses! One side has to be SAE and the other, Metric! (And of course, the water pump runs off of the same belt..!) We are getting very close to having it on the road! I have a leather-wrapped "TUFF" style steering wheel that's going in, both front seats are in now. Here's some recent photos:

Yes! Just ran up there yesterday with a bunch of parts! SOON! (Thank you!)

That's not butchered junk, it's a good score just from the pics, should get a parts car from the same error namely a charger and return that car to it's glory.
