North American Muscle Cars in Portland Oregon

Mopar Specialists with 5 to 15 projects going at one time

About this Mopar:

Hello everyone! Wanted to share some photos of our project garage here at North American Muscle Cars in Portland Oregon. We are vintage car/truck mechanics and restoration specialists since 1989 for 1950's 1960's 1970's and early 1980's. We are Mopar Snobs here, but don't reveal that to the Chevy/Ford guys... With nearly 3 decades of mechanical and full car restoration business in and around Portland Oregon, we've worked on 1,000's of B Bodies! We've witnessed first hand how the collectors market has gravitated to different Body Styles over recent history. Mopar E body used to the ticket, hottest back in 2005, then B Bodies became most desirable, when they used to be considered "too big" but the world focused on the power (interest in B Body continues strong) then there was a big push for A Body parts, cars and restorations, then F Body was "The Thing" for a short while, and we've worked on quite a few C Bodies over the past decade. Now we see a resurgence of VAN's - custom vintage vans are really hot right now... As a restoration house that works on what the customers bring us, we've seen it all! Every once in a while we do a company project and restored a B100 Tradesman as the easily recognizable "YAMAHAULER" and it gets more attention from adult men than any muscle car we've ever driven to any show... Maybe it's because muscle cars live in a world of "THAT'S SO COOL!" and "BEAUTIFUL CAR!" where the Yamahauler van restoration TAKES PEOPLE BACK like a time jump to when they were teenagers anxious to get their first dirt bike... Who knows, but most of our customers also have collectible motorcycles and vintage dirt bikes, so we started to restore vintage 2 wheel rides too! Steve Miles, owner of NAMCmopar.com races vintage dirt bikes and so there's a corner of the shop dedicated to 2 stroke Braaap-ness... THANKS for checking out our photos!
