My favourite car in the world.
And now i'm finally owning this very nice example. :)
About this Mopar:
1969 Dodge Charger R/T (No clone)
440 engine
727 3 speed automatic
8 3/4" sure grip rear end
Air conditioning
Cruise control
Buddy seat with arm rest (Which i prefer over center console with bucket seats)
Disk brakes up front
Power brakes
Power steering
Original 14x5,5" magnum wheels with new 205/70r14 tires
Documented original 90000 miles
Numbers matching and completely original, car is 100% stock (If something has been replaced then with the correct part)
Documentation since new (Came with a stack of maintenance records)
Just passed "TÜV" (inspection) a few days ago and registered it yesterday.
Today was finally the day to drive it home. On its first drive in germany, i directly took it on the autobahn.
But only very conservatively 60 mph since i still need to do a service including new fluids and filters.
Had some issues on the drive, but not the fault of the car but the morons who worked on it.
Luckily nothing broke and i was able to get home anyway.
It also has some issues like the heater core and valve needs to be replaced and the ac needs to be charged or fixed and stuff like that.
But the car is very solid overall.
Im so proud to finally own this very nice example of my very favourite car.
I will do what ever i can to give it the best home possible.
And most important: Drive it basically every week!
I already cant wait to put the hammer down after everything is fixed and running properly!
Rather than storing it away which is no fun.
Edit:
I censored my license plates in the pictures.
Dont know if its a good idea if those are visible for everybody.
