A 1969 Dodge Charger RT in germany

My favourite car in the world. And now i'm finally owning this very nice example. :)

About this Mopar:

1969 Dodge Charger R/T (No clone)
440 engine
727 3 speed automatic
8 3/4" sure grip rear end
Air conditioning
Cruise control
Buddy seat with arm rest (Which i prefer over center console with bucket seats)
Disk brakes up front
Power brakes
Power steering
Original 14x5,5" magnum wheels with new 205/70r14 tires
Documented original 90000 miles
Numbers matching and completely original, car is 100% stock (If something has been replaced then with the correct part)
Documentation since new (Came with a stack of maintenance records)

Just passed "TÜV" (inspection) a few days ago and registered it yesterday.
Today was finally the day to drive it home. On its first drive in germany, i directly took it on the autobahn. :D
But only very conservatively 60 mph since i still need to do a service including new fluids and filters.

Had some issues on the drive, but not the fault of the car but the morons who worked on it.
Luckily nothing broke and i was able to get home anyway. :)

It also has some issues like the heater core and valve needs to be replaced and the ac needs to be charged or fixed and stuff like that.
But the car is very solid overall.

Im so proud to finally own this very nice example of my very favourite car.
I will do what ever i can to give it the best home possible. :)
And most important: Drive it basically every week!

I already cant wait to put the hammer down after everything is fixed and running properly! :D
Rather than storing it away which is no fun.

Edit:
I censored my license plates in the pictures.
Dont know if its a good idea if those are visible for everybody.

Very nice car, I visited Germany 25 yrs ago and saw a charger on a trailer going to the drag strip, most of those cars were all brought over for the American air base, from what I was told. Enjoy that rid and fix those minor issue's.

That's a great Car you acquired there Michael ! CONGRATS on your finally acquiring
But I have to ask.... seeing as how when you were looking/advertising to acquire, that you seemed so.... and were absolutely adamant that any candidate Charger must be B5/B7 Blue with Buckets/Console ?
What made you decide to accept a 3X Green/Column Shift Auto example instead ?
Don't get me wrong here.... FINE Charger !
it's just many of us who invested lotsa time looking for a Charger for you, to no avail due to your B5/Console criterion ? are quite surprised at the final acquisition?

Well green was always my second favourite.
I also like "gold brown" for example.
I was mainly looking for a b5 blue car but this one was so nice (looking, condition, options, history just everything) that i ended up buying it.
And i do not regret it at all. :)

Edit:
I always wanted the buddy seat and column shifter. Not a console car.

Not sure if you where to get parts for that car, hope you have went to rockauto.com I am Canadian and they cover the brokerage fee, it will just cost you shipping. It's a good place to buy or cross reference to make sure you are not getting ripped off. All the best.
